Picture this: it’s 2017, and in a little corner of the UK, our founder, Lisa Gorenflo, had an idea—an idea that’s led to you being here, reading this today.

The journey really began earlier than that though, back in Lisa's home town of Germany, where she first discovered Mantrailing. It was love at first trail and she was completely hooked!

When she made the move to the UK, she couldn’t find any Mantrailing training available – not even a sniff of it! So, she thought, “Why not start something myself?”

At the time, Lisa was already running a dog training business, so she decided to add Mantrailing to her services. Meanwhile, she kept heading back to Germany to refine her skills, eventually earning her title as a Certified Mantrailing Instructor.

It didn’t take long for people to catch the Mantrailing bug and she quickly realised she was onto something special.

The more people who tried it, the more they saw how brilliant it was – not just for their dogs, but for themselves as well. 

And honestly? It just exploded from there!

People were travelling from all over the UK to take part. Even other dog trainers wanted to get involved so they could bring this amazing sport to their own clients.

 

With so much demand, Lisa knew she needed to spread her passion for the sport even further. That’s when she started coaching and training new instructors.

This grew into what’s now the Mantrailing Global Instructor Course - An internationally recognised programme that’s helped create an elite community of instructors around the world, all delivering top-quality Mantrailing training.

The Mantrailing Global Instructor course isn’t just any course – it’s been refined and rigorously assessed for quality and holds CPD Certification. We’re all about maintaining high standards so we can share the joy of Mantrailing with dog owners everywhere.
